Out at S.E.A
French Premiere
Out at S.E.A, small collective opera for 12 hands, was supervised by a master of the genre, Péter Eötvös. Based on an absurd-genre novel by Sławomir Mrożek, six composers undertook the composition of this exquisite cadaver. Each of the novel’s protagonists has a unique musical signature. The spirit of montage and of collaborative work has led to two versions of Out at S.E.A which is now at the end of a process launched in Budapest in April 2013.
