Donatienne Michel-Dansac began her musical studies with violin and piano at the Conservatoire Régional de Nantes before entering the maîtrise de l’Opéra at the age of 10. She received an award for singing Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. At the age of 21, she performed L. Berio’s Laborintus II under the baton of Pierre Boulez. This memorable encounter initiated her passion for today’s repertoire.

She has participated in multiple world premieres (works by Leroux, Manoury, Bedrossian, Lanza, Romitelli, Cattaneo, etc.) and has worked with Georges Aperghis for over 20 years. Donatienne Michel-Dansac performs Baroque and classical music as well, and performs with Vincent Leterme. She has performed in films and documentaries, and has been invited to read in several museums and foundations for contemporary art performances. She teaches in France and abroad. Donatienne Michel-Dansac is dressed by Chanel for her concerts.
